TFG And Pargo Expand Collect In Store Delivery Service To 180 Stores Nationwide

Due to popular demand,
TFG (The Foschini Group) expands it’s
‘Collect in Store’ delivery option to 180 TFG stores throughout
South Africa. The service is powered by Pargo, South Africa’s leading high-tech smart
logistics company, and enables people to shop online and collect their shopping in store.
Thanks to
‘Collect in Store’ TFG customers can shop online on any of TFG’s boutique websites and pick up their shopping in store at a time convenient to them within an 8 day collection period.
‘Collect in Store’ responds to needs unique to South Africans and is a great solution for people who would not usually be able to shop online due to a lack of suitable delivery options.
A large percentage of
South Africans are not permitted to receive their
online shopping at their workplace. Many also don’t have somebody at home to receive the
online shopping on their behalf and security guards at housing estates are often not permitted to sign for parcels.
To overcome this potential hurdle to
online shopping TFG has partnered with Pargo. Pargo provides purpose build software, click and collect expertise and a well-run customer service team to optimise the
‘Collect in Store’ operations. Their system driven processes and storage location systems reduce parcel retrieval times while parcels are stored safely, leading to a seamless customer experience.
Lars Veul co-founder at Pargo says: “An increased amount of online shoppers are looking for
flexible delivery options. With the
‘Collect in Store’ delivery option, TFG ensures that online shoppers have the freedom to buy online and collect from a nearby store when it suits them best.” He add’s: “The demand and feedback from TFG customers for the Collect in Store service has been very positive and we look forward to serving many more customers across the country.”
Making online shopping more accessible to the mass market by offering
innovative delivery options such as Pargo’s
‘Collect in Store’ is key in countries where
home delivery was previously the only option available to online shoppers. While
‘Collect in Store’ has been piloted in selected @home, Foschini, Markham, Sportscene and Totalsports stores in the Western Cape, it’s now available nationwide across all TFG brands.
TFG brands which offer
‘Collect in Store’ delivery include: Foschini, Markham, @home, @homelivingspace, American Swiss, Due South, Fabiani, Fix, G-Star Raw, Hi, TotalsSports, Next, Soda, Sportsscene, Sterns, Totalsports, Charles & Keith, Mat &May.
