What is Pargo?

Pargo is a convenient logistics solution that offers deliveries to pick-up points around the country. You can collect your parcels at the Pargo parcel points of your choice when it suits you best. Pargo parcel points are established in well-known and trusted South African retail stores.

How do I use Pargo?

Pargo delivers the parcels you purchase at different online and offline retailers to your Pargo parcel point anywhere in the country. Retailers in the Pargo network (such as Leisure Books) will offer you the Pargo service as a delivery option on their checkout page or via email/sms. Choose your Pargo parcel point during checkout and Pargo will deliver the parcel to the store of your choice. All you have to do is collect the parcel at a time that suits you.

Can I use Pargo to send parcels?

Unfortunately Pargo doesn’t offer the possibility to send parcels from consumer to consumer yet. It will do so in the near future.

Pargo delivers parcels purchased at retailers to convenient pick-up points where you can collect when it suits you best. Some retailers make it possible for you to organize your return via Pargo as well.

Pargo parcel points are those stores where you can collect your parcel. Pargo parcel points are established in well-known and trusted retail stores throughout the country. More stores and retail chains are being added every week.

Where is Pargo available?

There are over 500 Pargo parcel points located all over South Africa. Use the store locator under “Find a Store” to find a Pargo parcel point near you. How can I track and trace my parcel?

We offer full visibility throughout the delivery process. You can track your parcel at any stage by simply entering your tracking reference number on the Track & Trace page.

Is my parcel safe?

Pargo is a safe and secure delivery service. All Pargo parcels are stored in a dedicated secure area. Pargo uses a sophisticated IT system that is able to track all parcels at all times. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, we will know exactly where and when this happened and will resolve this for you.

Pargo is not responsible for any loss or damage to the parcels.

When can I collect my parcel?

You will receive SMS and/or email notification as soon as your parcel has been delivered to your chosen Pargo parcel point and is ready for collection.

How will I know when my parcel is ready for collection?

You will receive SMS and/or email notification as soon as your parcel has been delivered to your chosen Pargo parcel point and is ready for collection.

How long will it take for my parcel to be ready for collection?

The speed of the delivery is determined by the retailer at which you bought your parcel. Normally delivery will take 2 to 5 days, depending on the location of your Pargo parcel point. Delivery to some smaller regional areas might take a bit longer.

What do I need to bring to collect a parcel?

All you need is your ID and the Pargo Code for that parcel.

You will receive a unique Pargo Code in the sms and/or email that informs you that your parcel is ready for collection.

What is the Pargo Code?

This is a unique and random security code that you receive by sms and/or email at the moment the parcel arrives at your preferred Pargo parcel point. You will need this code to collect the parcel. Without it, you will not be able to collect.

I have lost my Pargo Code. What should I do?

The Pargo Code can be found in the sms and/or email notification that informs you that your parcel is ready for collection. If you have lost your Pargo Code, please contact us to receive a new code.

I received a notification that my parcel has been delivered but they can’t find the parcel at my Pargo parcel point.

Are you at the correct Pargo parcel point? Please check the collection address you received via SMS and/or email to confirm you went to the right Pargo parcel point.

If you visited the right pick-up point, please contact us.

Track & Trace shows that my parcel has arrived at the Pargo parcel point, but I haven't received a notification with my Pargo Code.

Please send your tracking reference number to us at support@pargo.co.za and we will resend the notification with your Pargo Code.

My email address or phone number has changed.

Please contact Pargo and provide us with your new contact details. Without your details Pargo is unable to notify you that your parcel is ready for collection.

Can someone else collect my parcel?

Yes. The person collecting will have to bring your ID (or a copy) and unique Pargo Code.

When are the Pargo parcel points open for collection?

Most Pargo parcel points are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! Pargo offers the longest operating hours in South Africa for the collection of your parcel.

Check the opening hours of your Pargo parcel point on the store locator (Find a Store page). You don't need an appointment to collect a parcel – just turn up at your preferred Pargo parcel point after you have received your sms/email notification that your parcel has arrived.

How many days do I have to pick up my parcel?

Pargo holds the parcel for 8 days from the moment you receive your sms/email notification. If you have not collected your parcel within 8 days, it will be returned to the sender.

Can the Pargo parcel point keep my parcel for longer than 8 days?

Unfortunately not. After 8 days your parcel will be returned to the sender.

If you know that you can't collect your parcel within this time frame, ask somebody to collect on your behalf. Make sure the person brings your ID (or a copy) and unique Pargo Code for the collection.

Can I change my Pargo parcel point?

Unfortunately it's not possible to change your Pargo parcel point after your order has been placed. However, for each new order you have the opportunity to select a new Pargo parcel point.
