We’re looking for an ambitious, smart and innovative Back-end Developer – a team player with outstanding full stack technical knowledge and good attention to detail – to join our team and build the technology to help us change the way people send and receive parcels. You will be part of the core team that develops the back-bone of our business. What you do

Your primary responsibility will be the development of our back-end system, optimization of current processes and maintenance of the central database. You will be involved in all aspects of the development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. Further you will lead partner integrations where needed for which experience with working with different e-commerce platforms (eg. Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce) is needed. A basic understanding of  front-end technologies is necessary as well to ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end and integration of the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the system. 

  • Development of our back-end systems

What we’re looking for

  • 5 years’ experience as a back-end developer
  • BA degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
  • Full stack developer with strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks
  • Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, Laravel, Kubernetes, Docker, Vue, Angular, Cordova, Redis, Postgresql, Nginx
  • Experience in working in Github
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
