How To Package Fragile Parcels

YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT—PACKING FRAGILE PARCELS
Pro tips from Pargo when packing your fragile customer orders.
DURABILITY IS YOUR BEST BET
Choose packaging that is durable and can withstand multiple handling. Consider bubble wrap, brown paper, foam sheets or even double-walled material to help prevent unhappy customers from returning damaged items.
SIZE REALLY DOES MATTER
Sizing your packaging is critical. You don’t want to use too much material for smaller items, but you also don’t want to use too little when preparing larger parcels. It might be worth investing in a couple of different sizes to have on hand.
WRAP PARCELS LIKE A PRO
When it comes to wrapping your items, consider using a protective layer, like bubble wrap or a foam sheet, before using plastic wrapping to further secure the item. Avoid wrapping the item too tight as this can also cause damage in transit.
LABEL LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT
Make sure to add a FRAGILE or HANDLE WITH CARE sticker to your parcel. Position this sticker near to the order waybill for best visibility. Notify the courier who collects that the parcels are fragile items.
